We strive to do our part to mitigate climate change and conserve natural resources. Across our global footprint, we are working to use energy and water more efficiently, leverage renewable resources and mitigate what we cannot eliminate.

Managing our climate change impact and setting emissions targets

Measuring and reporting our progress

Measuring and Managing our Carbon Emissions We will continue to do our part to mitigate climate change by managing carbon emissions across our operations. In 2023, we established this ambition with two goals:

EA will be carbon neutral for operations by 2027  EA is committed to becoming a net zero enterprise in alignment with the  
Paris Agreement  We’re progressing towards our goals. In FY25, we are pleased to share our progress toward our goal to be 100% carbon neutral by 2027 and progress on our net zero commitment:

83% of our global operations are now carbon neutral.1 95% renewable electricity attributable to our operations.

1 Inclusive of Scope 1 and 2 emissions and all facilities over which we have operational control.

Managing Energy, Water and Waste We continue to advance energy efficiency across our offices through targeted upgrades that reduce consumption and improve operational sustainability. Energy efficiency upgrades and resource management efforts include: HVAC optimization: Variable-speed drives and smarter controls cut energy use. Smart LED lighting: Occupancy and daylight sensors eliminate unnecessary lighting.
Critical IT cooling: Upgraded air handlers, cooling towers, and IDF airflow reduce power draw and protect equipment. Water conservation: Xeriscaping, recycled-water irrigation, rain gardens, and low-flow fixtures; e.g., Southam added manual water-saving controls in FY25. Responsible hardware lifecycle: Implementing responsible end-of-life processes for our hardware.  

Global Green Team Our Global Green Team fosters belonging and community around a common interest in sustainability, and has grown to over 1,000 members. This team drives a broad range of internal and community-based environmental actions targeted at driving a sustainable future for employees, players and the communities in which they play and live. In FY25, employees donated to almost 250 environmental-related organizations and contributed about 1,000 volunteer hours to organizations around the world.
