To download a game or early trial, search for the one you want to play in the Xbox Store from your Xbox and download it from there.

How can I pay for an EA Play membership on Xbox?

You can use either a credit/debit card or a Paypal account to pay for EA Play. Payment is handled through the Xbox billing system, so the payment method you want to use will have to be attached to your Xbox account. Payment will be automatically renewed every month or year depending on what membership duration you choose.

Do I have to have an Xbox Live Gold account to join EA Play?

Nope, you can join with a free Xbox Live account if you want. However, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold account if you want to use the online features of any games in the collection (like online multiplayer).

Is EA Play included with Xbox Game Pass?

EA Play membership is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers at no additional cost. Xbox Game Pass for Console does not include EA Play.

What version of EA Play do Xbox Game Pass subscribers receive?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers receive EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also get EA Play on Windows 10 via the EA Desktop app. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass for PC receive a PC membership to EA Play via EA Desktop.

 

EA Play Pro is only available through EA’s PC platforms, and is sold separately.

Is EA Play automatically available to Game Pass subscribers?

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers automatically receive EA Play on Xbox, and you’ll be able to download and play EA Play games through the Xbox Game Pass experience. Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get access to EA Play on PC via the EA Desktop app.

How do I access EA Play with my Game Pass membership?

If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass for PC, you automatically have full access to all EA Play member benefits and Play List titles.

 

If you have Xbox Game Pass for PC, you get access to EA Play for PC on Windows 10 via the EA Desktop app. Game Pass Ultimate members also get access to EA Play for PC on Windows 10 via EA Desktop.

How do I use my EA Play 10% member discount?

Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass for PC subscribers will receive their 10% discount when making an EA content purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and EA’s PC desktop app (beta).

What happens if I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass for PC, but I only want EA Play?

You can cancel your Xbox Game Pass subscriptions at any time and then sign up for EA Play. To cancel your Xbox Game Pass subscription, sign in to your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services. Under Xbox Game Pass, select "Payment & billing", then “Cancel”. You’ll have an option to end your subscription on its expiration date.

If I have EA Play but want to join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, do I have to first cancel my EA Play subscription?

No. EA Play members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play subscription on Xbox automatically canceled. Any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to additional time on your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Can Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members still redeem EA Play codes on Xbox?

Yes. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can redeem EA Play membership codes, which will automatically be converted to additional time on your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.

How do I cancel my EA Play membership? What happens if I cancel?

We’ll be sad to see you go, but we won’t make it harder than it has to be. You can end your membership anytime by visiting https://account.microsoft.com/services/, selecting "Payment & billing", and canceling from there.

 

If you cancel, you'll lose all EA Play benefits (access to the Play List, you won’t continue to accumulate in-game member rewards, etc.) once your current billing cycle ends, including access to trials and the games in our collection. You'll retain all your save files so you can pick up where you left off if you decide to join again.

Navigate to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Account Information] > [PlayStation Subscriptions] and select the EA Play subscription you want to cancel. Select Turn Off Auto-Renewal.
